Orange Jelly

Orange Jelly is a very popular recipe. Learn how to make/prepare Orange Jelly by following this easy recipe.


Ingredients:

• 1-1/2 tbsp Gelatin 
• 1/4 cup Cold Water 
• 1/2 cup Boiling Water 
• 1/2 cup Sugar 
• 1/4 tsp Salt 
• 6 tbsp Lemon Juice 
• 1-1/2 tsp Grated Orange Rind(optional) 
• 1-1/2 cups Orange Juice 
• Cream or Custard sauce 

How to make Orange Jelly:

• Take gelatin and soak it cold water for 20 minutes.
• Now dissolve it in the boiling water.
• Add sugar and salt and stir until dissolved.
• Add lemon juice, orange rind, and orange juice.
• Pour the jelly into a wet mold, refrigerate until it becomes firm.
• Unmold it and serve it with Cream or Custard Sauce.

Apple Jelly

Apple Jelly is a very popular recipe. Learn how to make/prepare Apple Jelly by following this easy recipe.



Ingredients:


• 2 Apples

• 1-1/2 cup Water

• 2 tbsp Corn Flour

• 2-3 Clove-Cinnamon Powder

• 1 Drop Yellow Color

• 1/2 cup Sugar

How to make Apple Jelly:

• Peel off the apple skin and cut in quarters.

• In a heavy saucepan, put apple quarters and sugar.

• Heat it on high flame.

• Sprinkle with little water.

• When apples become soft and sugar gets dissolved, remove from the fire.

• Take out the apples and drain them on a colander.

• Add corn flour, water, spices and yellow color to the remaining syrup.

• Stir and boil continuously till transparent and thick.

• Transfer the jelly into hot sterilized jars and seal.

• Apple Jelly is ready.

Amber Jelly

Ingredients:
• 3 Egg yolks
• 30 gms Gelatine
• 140 ml Lemon juice
• Thin rind of 1 lemon
• 175 gms Sugar
• 400 ml Water

How to make Amber Jelly:

• Put the above ingredients in a pan and allow the mixture to soak for about 5 minutes.

• Whisk it over the flame till it reaches near boiling point.
• Avoid boiling because it may lead to the curdling of the eggs.
• Allow to cool , decorates with lemon rind and serve.
