Heart Shaped Cookies

Ingredients:
 

• 2 Eggs
• 1/3 cup Milk
• 1 -1/4 cups Sugar
• 1/2 cup Butter (softened)
• 1/4 cup Shortening
• 3 cups All-Purpose Flour
• 1/2 tsp Salt
• 1 tsp Baking Powder
• 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
• 2 tsp Fresh Lemon Juice
• 1 tsp Grated Lemon Rind
• Green and Orange Liquid food Colors
   
How to make Heart Shaped Cookies:
 

• Beat butter and shortening with an electric mixer on medium speed till soft. Combine sugar with it and mix well.
• Add eggs and milk and keep beating till blended properly.
• Take a bowl and combine flour baking powder, baking soda and salt properly.
• Add this with butter mixture and beat at low speed till well blended.
• Add lemon rind and juice.
• Fragment the dough into 4 equal parts and wrap each portion in plastic wrap.
• Allow to cool for about 2 to 6 hours.
• Roll a dough part on a lightly floured surface to a 1/4 inch thickness.
• Cut it with a 3 inch heart-shaped cookie cutter and keep on lightly greased baking sheets.
• Repeat the method for other dough parts.
• Now bake them at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for about 8 to 9 minutes till light brown colour reached on bottoms.
• Allow them to cool on baking sheets for about 2 minutes.
• Transfer to wire racks and let them cool for 20 minutes.
• Put green food color on 1/4 cup Icing and spread it on tops of cookies.
• Put orange food color on reserved 1/4 cup Icing and put that into a zip-top plastic bag. Pierce 1 corner of the bag to make a small hole and pipe dots on cookies.
• Heart Shaped Cookies are ready to serve.

Ingredients:

• 1 Egg 
• 1¼ cups Flour, sift before measuring 
• 1/2 cup Shortening 
• 1/2 cup Peanut Butter 
• 1 tsp Baking Powder 
• 1/2 tsp Salt 
• 1/2 tsp Vanilla 
• 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar 
• 1/2 cup Light Brown Sugar, packed

How to make Peanut Butter Cookie :

• Take a bowl and sift flour, salt, and baking powder together. After sifting set them aside
• Beat together peanut butter, butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar in a large bowl until it gets smooth.
• Add in egg and vanilla
• Now you can combine flour mixture with peanut butter mixture
• Scrap the sides of the bowl to ensure batter is well blended
• Wrap dough in plastic and refrigerate at least 3 hours.
• Preheat oven to 375°F.
• Now, roll dough into 1 1/4 inch balls.
• Place them about 3 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
• Flatten it in crisscross pattern with a fork.
• Bake until it gets light brown, 9 to 10 minutes.
• Cool on baking sheets for a minute and change it to the rack to cool completely .

Ingredients:
• 420 gm sweetened Condensed Milk 
• 90 gm unsweetened Chocolate 
• 2 cups Coconut (shredded) 
• 1 cup Pecan (chopped)

• Salt (to taste)

How to make Chocolate Coconut Cookies:
• Preheat the oven to 300°F. Butter a cooking sheet.
• Heat condensed milk along with chocolate in a saucepan, until chocolate melts.
• Take off the heat.
• Mix in the remaining ingredients and blend well.
• Put spoonfuls of the mixture, 1 inch apart, onto the cookie sheet.
• Bake in the preheated oven at 300°F for 15 minutes, or until set.
• Remove and let it cool.
• Serve thereafter.

• Preheat oven to 350°F.

• Now stir in the remaining ones.

• Spread batter evenly into prepared pan.

• Bake for 20-30 minutes, until brownies are done.

Ingredients:


• 4 cups (500gs) All-purpose Flour

• 2 tsp Instant Coffee Powder

• 3 tsp Cinnamon

• 1/2 tsp Almond Extract

• 1 tsp Ginger

• 1 cup (125gs) Granulated Sugar

• 1/2 tsp Salt

• 1 cup (125gs) Dark Brown Sugar

• 1 tsp Baking Soda

• 3 large (extra) or jumbo Eggs

• 1 cup (125gs) Butter

• 300 g Blanched Almonds, slivered

How to make Almond Spice Cookies:

• In a bowl, sift together the flour, cinnamon, ginger, salt and baking soda and set aside.

• In a large bowl, cream the butter. Add the coffee, almond extract, granulated and brown sugars and beat well. Add the eggs one at a time until smooth after each addition.

• On low speed gradually add the sifted dry ingredients, scraping the bowl with a rubber spatula and beating only until the mixture is smooth. Gently mix in the almonds.

• Spread out two pieces of wax paper. Place large spoonfuls of the dough lengthwise on each piece of paper to form heavy strips about 10-11 inches long. Fold the long sides of the paper p against the dough and, pressing against the paper with your hands, shape each strip of dough into a smooth oblong 12 inches long, 3 inches wide, and about 1 inch thick. Wrap the dough in the wax paper.

• Slide a cookie sheet under both packages of dough and transfer them to the freezer or refrigerator for several hours or overnight. This slices best when dough is frozen solid.

• Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Unwrap one roll of dough at a time. Place dough on a cutting board. With a very sharp knife cut the dough into 1/4-inch slices and place them 1 to 1 1/2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.

• Bake the cookies for about 10-12 minutes at 375 degrees. The cookies are done when they are slightly colored and spring back when lightly pressed with a fingertip.

• 1 cup All-Purpose Flour

• 1 cup ground Almonds

• ¼ tsp Baking Powder

• Dash of Salt

• ½ cup Butter (softened)

• ¾ cup Sugar

• 1 large Egg White

• ½ tsp Almond Extract

• 1/3 cup Almonds (sliced)


How to make Almond Cookies:

• Combine flour with ground almonds, baking powder, and salt in a bowl. Set aside.

• Whisk together butter and sugar with electric mixer until creamy. Beat in egg white and almond extract.

• Gradually add flour mixture into the creamed mixture. Chill for 2 hours.

• Knead dough well adding sliced almonds. Divide and shape into 1-inch cookies.

• Arrange on a lightly greased baking sheet at 1-inch distance.

• Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Bake the cookies at 350 degrees F for 12 minutes or until golden brown.

• Let cool and store in an airtight container.

Ingredients:

• 1/2 cup butter, softened

• 1 cup brown sugar

• 1 egg

• 1/3 cup sour cream

• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

• 2 cups all-purpose flour

• 3/4 teaspoon baking powder

• 3/4 teaspoon baking soda

• 1/4 teaspoon salt

• 1 3/4 cups chopped cashews

• 1/2 cup butter

• 3 tablespoons heavy whipping cream

• 2 cups confectioners' sugar

• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

How to make Cashew cookies:

• Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets.

• In a large bowl, cream together the 1/2 cup butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the egg, beating well, then stir in the sour cream and 1 teaspoon vanilla.

• Combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt; gradually stir into the creamed mixture. Fold in cashew pieces.

• Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto the prepared cookie sheets. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes in the preheated oven.

• Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.

• To make the frosting, melt 1/2 cup butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Cook until butter turns a light brown color, be careful not to burn it.

• Remove from heat and stir in the cream. Gradually beat in the confectioners' sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla until smooth. Spread onto cooled cookies.
