Bean Chili

 Bean Chili is a very popular Chinese recipe. Learn how to prepare Bean Chili by following this easy recipe.



Ingredients:

• 2 cup Red Beans (soak overnight)
• 2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
• 1 cup chopped Onions
• 1 Bell Pepper
• 1 cup hot Salsa
• 3 tbsp Tomato Sauce
• 1 tbsp Chili Seasoning
   
How to make Bean Chili:


• Cook beans in plenty of salted water until tender but firm. Drain properly.
• Heat the oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
• Stir-fry the pepper and onion until golden.
• Add the beans and cook over high for 7-8 minutes, stirring frequently.
• Add salsa and tomato sauce and cook on low for 2-3 minutes.
• Sprinkle with chili seasoning and remove from the heat. Serve hot with rice.

Bean and Pasta Soup

Bean and Pasta Soup is healthy and delicious soup, from the Italian cuisine. Learn how to make/prepare Bean and Pasta Soup by following this easy recipe.



Ingredients:
• 5 Fresh Sage Leaves 
• 16 ounces Dried Cannellini Beans (or white beans) 
• 1 tsp Rosemary Leaves (fresh) 
• 1/2 tsp Cayenne Flakes 
• 6 cups Water 
• 2 tbsp Tomato Paste 
• 3 cloves Garlic (minced) 
• 2 cloves Garlic 
• 9 tbsp Olive Oil 
• Salt (as per taste) 
• Pepper (as per taste) 
• 8 oz Ziti or Tubular Pasta (short)

How to make Bean and Pasta Soup:
• Soak the beans a night before in cold water. In the morning, drain and rinse them.
• Take a large stew pot and put beans in it, along with whole garlic, water, sage leaves and 3 tbsp oil.
• Bring the beans to a boil and cook them on simmer for approximately 1 hour. Make sure they are tender.
• In the meantime, take a small skillet and heat 6 tbsp of oil and garlic and stir for 1 minute.
• Now, add cayenne pepper flakes, tomato paste, salt, pepper and fresh rosemary leaves in it and stir again.
• Take the cooked beans and add the above mixture in it. Stir well again.
• Pass soup through food mill, pour it in the stew pot and cook on low heat, till it is slightly thick.
• Cook the short pasta in a pot, with water and salt added to it, until it becomes soft. Drain the water and add soup in it.
• Again cook it for 15 minutes and serve hot.

Beans usili is a very popular recipe. Learn how to make/prepare Tamilian Beans usili by following this easy recipe.



Ingredients:


• 5 French Beans (chopped)

• 1/2 cup Toor Dal

• 1 tbsp Chana Dal

• 1/2 tsp Urad Dal

• 1/2 tsp Mustard Seeds

• 3 to 4 Dried Red Chillies

• 1/4 tsp Asafetida (Hing)

• 1 pinch Turmeric Powder

• Oil

• Salt to taste


How to make Beans usili:

• Wash and soak the toor dal and Chana dal (you can put them together) for about 1 hour.

• Once soft, grind this (dals) with red chillies, turmeric, some salt, hing and little water.

• Pour oil into a pan and stir-fry the dal mixture.

• Once the dal mixture breaks into small pieces and is not sticky anymore, empty it into a cup and keep it aside.

• In the same pan, pour required oil, add mustard seeds. When it starts breaking, add urad dal, salt and beans.

• Once the beans is cooked add the fried dal mixture and let it cook for 3-4 minutes.


Suggestions:

serve it hot with rice or roti .

Ingredients:


• 250 g Beans (chopped)

• 1 cup grated Coconut

• 3 Red Chilies

• 1 tsp Black Gram

• A pinch of Asafoetida

• Salt (to taste)

• ¼ tsp Turmeric Powder

• 1 tsp Oil

• Few Curry Leaves


How to make Beans Fry:

• Toss beans with salt and turmeric in a bowl.

• Transfer the beans into a pan filled with water and cook until tender. Drain the beans and keep aside.

• Heat oil in a pan and sauté red chilies, black gram, and asafoetida.

• Stir in beans and cook for around 2 minutes.

• Add coconut and curry leaves. Mix well.

• Serve hot.

Ingredients:



• 1 Cup baked beans


• 1 Onion, chopped


• 1 Slice bread


• 1 tbsp Olive oil


• 1/2 tsp Green chilies, finely chopped


• 1 Small carrot, chopped


• 1/2 Cup green peas


• 1 tsp Red chili powder


• 1 Small green bell pepper, chopped


• 1 tbsp Grated cheese


• 1 tbsp Chopped parsley

How to make Baked Beans on Toast:


• Heat olive oil in a frying pan on medium flame.


• Add chopped onions and green chilies.


• Fry till the onions become light brown.


• Now add baked beans, all vegetables, and red chilli powder.


• Mix them properly.


• Cook for two minutes.


• Meanwhile, toast the bread in a toaster until it turns brown.


• Spread the beans mixture on the bread slice.


• Garnish with grated cheese and parsley.

Ingredients:


• 4 Carrot (chopped)

• 7-8 Beans (chopped)

• 1 Onion (sliced)

• 1/2 tsp Chili Powder

• 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder

• 1/2 cup Coconut (grated)

• 1 tsp Coconut Oil

• 1 tsp Mustard Seeds

• 4 Curry Leaves

• Salt to taste

How to make Beans Carrot Poriyal:

• Mix together the chopped vegetables, onion, chili powder, turmeric powder and salt.

• Add some water and cook it well together, until the vegetables become soft.

• Heat a tsp of oil in a pan and toss mustard seeds.

• Add curry leaves and sauté for a while.

• Add the cooked vegetables to this and mix them with grated coconut.

• Cook the mixture until the poriyal is dry.

• Tasty Beans Carrot Poriyal is ready.

Ingredients:
• 1½ cups Butter Beans
• 2 Onions (chopped)
• 1 Tomato
• 1 tsp Ginger-Garlic Paste
• ½ tsp Turmeric Powder
• 1 tsp Chili Powder
• ½ tsp Coriander Powder
• ½ tsp Garam Masala
• 4 Cloves
• 3 Cardamoms
• 1 inch piece of Cinnamon
• 3 tbsp Oil
• Coriander Leaves (chopped)
• Salt (to taste)

How to make Beans Curry:
• Soak beans in water for around 6 hours.
• Pressure cook for 2 whistles.
• Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry cloves, cardamom, and cinnamon.
• Add onion and fry until transparent.
• Stir in ginger-garlic paste and cook for 2 minutes.
• Remove and keep aside to cool. Grind with tomato to make a fine paste.
• Combine the paste with turmeric powder, chili powder, coriander powder, and garam masala in a pan. Cook for 5 minutes.
• Stir in beans with water and salt. Cook until the gravy gets thick.
• Garnish with coriander leaves.
• Serve hot.

Ingredients:

• 500 g Butter Beans (soaked overnight)

• 1 Onion (diced)

• ½ cup Oil

• 1-2 Lemons (juiced)

• Salt (to taste)


How to make Butter Beans Salad:

• Rinse butter beans and boil them in salted water until soft.

• Drain them and transfer into a salad bowl.

• Boil the onions until tender and mix with the boiled beans.

• Drizzle oil and lemon juice over the beans. Toss to mix the contents well.

• Serve and enjoy yummy and healthy butter beans salad.

Beans in Tomato Sauce is a very popular recipe. Learn how to prepare Beans in Tomato Sauce by following this simple & easy recipe.




Ingredients:

• ½ kg Fava Beans (shelled)

• 6 large Ripe Tomatoes (peeled, seeded and chopped)

• 2 cloves Garlic (finely chopped)

• 1½ tsp Paprika

• 1 tsp Cumin Seeds (Jeera)

• Salt (to taste)

• ¼ tsp Black Pepper

• 1/8 tsp Hot Pepper (ground)

• 1/3 cup Olive Oil

• ¼ cup Coriander Leaves (chopped)


How to make Beans in Tomato Sauce:

• Take fava beans, along with 2 cups of salted water in a saucepan and get it to boil on high flame. • Reduce the flame to medium and cook the beans for 25 minutes, or until tender.

• Remove and drain well.

• Put tomatoes with remaining ingredients in a pan and mix well.

• Cook on medium to high flame, crushing the tomatoes and stirring infrequently, for 20 minutes, or until the sauce thickens.

• Pour the cooked beans, along with 2 tbsp water and blend well.

• Cook for the final 5 minutes.

• Serve hot with bread.

VEGETARIAN BLACK BEAN SOUP

Ingredients:

• 1 tbsp Olive oil

• 3 Cups onion, chopped
• 2 tsp Cumin
• 2 tsp Salt
• 1 Medium carrot, diced
• 10 Garlic cloves, crushed
• 1 Bell pepper, diced
• 5 Cups black beans, soaked and cooked
• 1½ Cups orange juice
• Black pepper, to taste
• Cayenne pepper, to taste
• 2 Tomatoes, diced
How to make Vegetarian Black Bean Soup:

• Sauté onion, cumin, salt, carrot and 5 garlic cloves in olive oil, over medium heat. Cook till the
carrot is tender.

• Add bell pepper and rest of the garlic. Sauté for around 10-15 minutes or till the bell pepper is tender.

• Transfer to the Dutch oven, along with the cooked beans.

• Mix in the orange juice, both the peppers and tomatoes. Cook till the tomatoes become tender.

• Transfer the soup to a blender and purée it.

• Pour the soup back into the Dutch oven.

• Simmer over low heat for 10-15 minutes and serve.

• Vegetarian Black Bean Soup is ready.
