Broccoli Curry

Broccoli Curry is a very popular South Indian  recipe. 



Ingredients:

2 Broccoli 
1 Carrot 
1 Onion (chopped) 
2 Green Chilies (chopped) 
2 tsp Oil 
Salt (to taste) 
½ tsp Garam Masala 
½ tsp Mustard Seeds

Method:

  1. Chop broccoli into small florets.
  2. Combine broccoli, carrot, salt, and enough water in a pan. Cook until tender.
  3. Heat oil in a pan and crackle mustard seeds.
  4. Stir in green chilies and onion. Shallow fry.
  5. Mix in broccoli, carrot, garam masala, and salt. Cook for a while.
  6. Serve hot.

Broccoli and Baby Corn Vegetable

Ingredients:

• ½ cup Capsicums. cut into big pieces
• ½ cup Onions, cut into big pieces
• 1 cup Broccoli or Cauliflower, blanched and cut into big pieces
• ½ cup Baby Corn, sliced diagonally
• ¼ cup French Beans, parboiled
• A few pieces Cucumber, sliced diagonally
• 7 to 8 Cashew Nuts, fried lightly
• 1 tsp Garlic, finely chopped
• 1 tbsp Corn Flour
• A pinch of Sugar
• 2 pinches Black Pepper
• 2 tbsp Oil
• Salt to taste
   
How to make Broccoli and Baby Corn Vegetable:


• Heat oil in a frying pan, on high flame.
• Add the garlic and stir for a few seconds.
• Add in capsicums, onions, broccoli, baby corn, French beans and cucumber and stir fry for about 2 minutes.
• Dissolve cornflour in ¾ cup of water. Add it to the vegetables.
• Add sugar, black pepper and salt to the preparation and cook for another minute.
• Remove from heat, garnish with fried cashew nuts and serve hot.

 Broccoli Spinach Soup is a very tasty American recipe. Learn how to prepare Broccoli Spinach Soup by following this easy recipe. 





Ingredients:

• 1 cup Frozen Broccoli Spears (slightly softened)
• 2 cans Chicken Broth
• 3 tbsp Flour
• 1 tsp Salt
• 3 Green Onions (finely chopped)
• 3 tbsp Lemon Juice (optional)
• 3 tbsp Butter
• 1 cup Frozen Spinach (chopped)
• 1 pinch Pepper
• 1/2 cup Half and Half
   
How to make Broccoli Spinach Soup:


• Heat butter in a saucepan.
• Fry green onions until they turn brown in color.
• Add flour, salt and pepper and mix it well.
• Add chopped spinach, broccoli spears and chicken broth and mix again.
• Simmer it (covered) for 5 to 8 minutes approximately.
• Spoon half and half; cook for 5 more minutes.
• Add lemon juice for making it a little tangier.
• Enjoy it hot.

Ingredients:

• ¼ cup Peanut Butter, creamy or chunky 
• 1½ tbsp Hot Water 
• 1 tbsp Lime Juice 
• 1 tbsp Light Soy Sauce 
• 1½ tsp Dark Sesame Oil 
• ¼ tsp Red Pepper Flakes 
• 2 tbsp Vegetable Oil 
• 3 cups Fresh Broccoli Florets 
• ½ cup Red Bell Pepper, chopped 
• ¼ cup Green Onions, sliced 
• 1 clove Garlic, crushed

How to make Thai Broccoli Salad:

• Add hot water with peanut butter, lime juice, soy sauce, sesame oil and red pepper flakes until it blends well.
• Heat oil over in a large pan over medium heat. Add red pepper, broccoli, green onions and garlic. Stir-fry 3-4 minutes until vegetables are tender crisp.
• Remove it from heat and stir the peanut butter mixture.
• Serve warm.

Broccoli and Carrot Soup is a quick to prepare and highly nutritious soup. Learn how to make/prepare Broccoli & Carrot Soup by following this easy recipe.





Ingredients:

• 1 medium Onion (chopped) 
• 2 medium Carrots (chopped) 
• 2 Celery Ribs (chopped) 
• 1 tbsp Butter 
• 3 cups Fresh Broccoli Florets 
• 3 cups Fat-free Milk (divided) 
• 3/4 tsp Salt 
• 1/2 tsp Thyme (dried) 
• 1/8 tsp Pepper 
• 3 tbsp All-purpose Flour 

How to make Broccoli and Carrot Soup:

• Cook the onion, carrots and celery in butter, in a large saucepan, for 3 minutes.
• Add broccoli and cook for another 3 minutes.
• Stir in 2¾ cups milk, salt, thyme and pepper.
• Bring to boil and reduce the flame.
• Cover and simmer for 5-10 minutes, so that the vegetables are tender.
• Combine the flour and remaining milk until smooth. Gradually stir into the soup.
• Bring to a boil & cook for 2 more minutes or until thickened.

Broccoli and Almond Soup

This winter, soak in rich almonds of a healthy, green broccoli soup. Learn how to make/prepare Broccoli and Almond Soup by following this easy recipe.





Ingredients:
• 300 ml Skimmed Milk 
• 900 ml Vegetable Stock 
• 675 g Broccoli, divided into small florets 
• 50 g Ground Almonds 
• Black Pepper, freshly ground 
• Salt to taste

How to make Broccoli and Almond Soup:
• Prepare oven by pre-heating it at 180 deg C.
• On a greased baking sheet, spreads almonds and toast them for 10 minutes, or until they turn golden brown.
• Keep aside a quarter of the almonds for garnishing.
• Boil broccoli florest for 7 to 8 minutes, until they become tender.
• Mix the broccoli, remaining almonds, milk and water in a mixer and blend until it becomes smooth.
• Season according to taste.
• Once blended and seasoned, reheat the soup and serve hot.
• Toasted almonds can be sprinkled on top.

Broccoli Mushroom Stir Fry is a quick, delicious and healthy combination of broccoli and mushrooms. Learn how to prepare Broccoli Mushroom Stir Fry by following this easy recipe.



Ingredients:


• 1 Broccoli (medium sized, diced)

• 2 tbsp Oil

• 2 tsp Ginger (finely chopped)

• 1 tbsp Garlic (finely chopped)

• 1 tbsp Sugar

• 2 cups Mushrooms (quartered)

• 2 tsp Lemon Juice

• 1 stalk Celery (chopped)

• 4 Spring Onions (chopped)

• 1 tbsp Soy Sauce

• 2 tsp Black Peppercorns (crushed)

• Ajinomoto

• Salt


How to make Broccoli Mushroom Stir Fry:

• Boil the broccoli in salted water for 10 minutes.

• Take a pan and heat the oil.

• Add ginger, garlic and celery to the oil and fry until soft.

• Add the sliced onions and fry for 2 minutes.

• Add the mushrooms and fry on medium-high heat for 2 minutes.

• Add broccolo and the remainder of the ingredients and toss on high heat for 3 minutes.

• Serve hot.

Ingredients:


• 1 Cup broccoli (small florets)

• 1/2 Cup mushroom (chopped finely)

• 3/4 Cup fresh cream

• 1/4 tsp White pepper powder

• 3-4 tsp Oil

• Salt to taste

• 3-4 Cups cooked rice


How to make Broccoli & Mushroom Steamed Rice:

• In a pan, heat 1 tsp of oil.

• Add broccoli florets and fry for a while.

• Add mushroom and fry on a high flame till done.

• Add salt and white pepper powder to this.

• Add rice and mix well.

• Toss the rice with fresh cream.

Baby Corn Broccoli

Ingredients:

• 1/2 teacup Capsicums (cut into big pieces)

• 1/2 teacup Onions (cut into big pieces)

• 1 teacup Broccoli (cut into big pieces)

• 1/2 teacup Baby Corn (sliced diagonally)

• 1/4 teacup French Beans (parboiled)

• A few pieces Cucumber (diagonally sliced)

• 7-8 Cashew Nuts (lightly fried)

• 1 tsp Garlic (finely chopped)

• 1 tbsp Corn Flour

• A pinch Sugar

• 2 pinches Black Pepper

• 2 tbsp Oil

• Salt (to taste)


How to make Baby Corn Broccoli:

• Heat oil in a frying pan, on high heat. Add garlic and stir fry for a few seconds.

• Add capsicums, capsicums, onion, broccoli, baby corn, French beans and cucumber and stir fry for 2 minutes.

• Combine corn flour and 3/4 teacup of water. Add to the vegetables.

• Add black pepper, sugar and salt. Cook for one minute.

• Served hot, garnished with fried cashew nuts

Broccoli and Chicken Casserole

Ingredients:
• 4 oz Noodles
• 2½ cups Chicken (chopped & cooked)
• ½ cup Onions (chopped)
• 10 oz Broccoli Florets
• 10 oz Cream of Mushroom Soup
• ½ cup Skimmed Milk (at room temp)
• ½ cup Swiss Cheese (shredded)
• 1 tsp Basil
• Salt and freshly ground Black Pepper (to taste)

How to make Broccoli and Chicken Casserole:
• Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
• Boil noodles until tender but firm. Drain and set aside.
• Combine mushroom soup, milk, cheese, basil, salt, and pepper in a small bowl. Mix well and keep aside.
• Place noodles, chicken, onions, and broccoli in a large bowl and fold gently.
• Add the soup mixture and toss the bowl slightly.
• Pour the mixture into a lightly greased 2½-quart casserole and cover.
• Bake for 40 minutes.
• Serve hot.
