Heart Shaped Cookies

• 2 Eggs
• 1/3 cup Milk
• 1 -1/4 cups Sugar
• 1/2 cup Butter (softened)
• 1/4 cup Shortening
• 3 cups All-Purpose Flour
• 1/2 tsp Salt
• 1 tsp Baking Powder
• 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
• 2 tsp Fresh Lemon Juice
• 1 tsp Grated Lemon Rind
• Green and Orange Liquid food Colors
How to make Heart Shaped Cookies:

• Beat butter and shortening with an electric mixer on medium speed till soft. Combine sugar with it and mix well.
• Add eggs and milk and keep beating till blended properly.
• Take a bowl and combine flour baking powder, baking soda and salt properly.
• Add this with butter mixture and beat at low speed till well blended.
• Add lemon rind and juice.
• Fragment the dough into 4 equal parts and wrap each portion in plastic wrap.
• Allow to cool for about 2 to 6 hours.
• Roll a dough part on a lightly floured surface to a 1/4 inch thickness.
• Cut it with a 3 inch heart-shaped cookie cutter and keep on lightly greased baking sheets.
• Repeat the method for other dough parts.
• Now bake them at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for about 8 to 9 minutes till light brown colour reached on bottoms.
• Allow them to cool on baking sheets for about 2 minutes.
• Transfer to wire racks and let them cool for 20 minutes.
• Put green food color on 1/4 cup Icing and spread it on tops of cookies.
• Put orange food color on reserved 1/4 cup Icing and put that into a zip-top plastic bag. Pierce 1 corner of the bag to make a small hole and pipe dots on cookies.
• Heart Shaped Cookies are ready to serve.

Baingan Tikka

• 6 large Brinjals
• 2 Onions, chopped
• ¼ cup French Beans, chopped
• ¼ cup Green Peas
• 1 Carrot
• 2 Potatoes
• 2 Tomatoes
• 1 bunch Coriander Leaves
• 1 bunch Mint Leaves
• 1 ½ piece Ginger
• 5 Cloves Garlic
• ½ tsp Cumin Powder
• ½ tsp Coriander Powder
• 1 tsp Garam Masala
• 1 Lemon Juice
• Oil, for frying
• Salt, to taste
How to make Baingan Tikka:

• Boil potatoes, peel and mash it and keep it aside.
• Slit the brinjals horizontally and grill until it is half cooked. Now, scoop out the pulp and keep the shell aside.
• Take a bowl and grind leaves, mint, ginger, garlic and salt to make a smooth paste.
• Now, take a saucepan and heat oil in it. Put chopped onions in it and fry it till it turns golden brown.
• Add ground paste to this mixture and fry till the oil leaves the sides. Put carrots, beans, peas, potatoes and brinjal pulp and fry it for 6- 7 minutes.
• Now, put turmeric, coriander powder, cumin powder and garam masala with salt in it and fry well.
• Put lemon juice in it and remove from the flame.
• Now, use it as filling in each brinjal shell and roast in a grill. Serve hot.

• 150 g Black Chocolate Bar
• 125 g Unsalted Butter
• 3 Eggs
• 125 g Sugar
• 60 g Flour
• 100 ml Milk
• 2 tsp Baking Powder
How to make French Chocolate Cake:

• Mix chocolate with 2 tsp water in a glass bowl and heat in the oven for 2 minutes on high temperature.
• Stir in butter and heat for another 1 minute.
• Sift flour with baking powder in a large bowl.
• Beat eggs with sugar in a separate bowl and whip until light and creamy.
• Stir in cold milk and let cool to room temperature.
• Mix in chocolate mixture.
• Add into flour and whisk until well blended and smooth.
• Grease a baking pan and pour in the batter.
• Set the oven to 190 °C and bake for 30 minutes, until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

• 3 cups Wheat Flour
• 1 cup Cabbage (finely grated)
• 1'' Ginger (finely chopped)
• 1 tsp Green Chillies (chopped)

• ½ tsp Garam Masala
• Butter/Oil (for frying)
• Salt to taste
How to make Cabbage Paratha:

• Mix the wheat flour and salt properly in a bowl.
• Then add 1 teaspoon oil, grated cabbage, coriander, ginger and green chillies and again mix well.
• Now knead this into soft dough by mixing enough water.
• Take little portion of the dough and make a round ball.
• Roll this ball into the shape of a round paratha.
• Heat the tawa (griddle) and cook the paratha with butter or oil as per your choice.
• Cook till both the sides of paratha turn golden brown.
• Serve hot parathas with curd or pickle.

• 2 Pounds skinless, boneless chicken breast halves - cut into 1-1/2 inch pieces
• 6 Almonds
• 8 Cloves garlic
• 6 Jalapeno peppers, seeded and chopped
• 1 Inch piece fresh ginger root, peeled
• 1 Lemon, juiced
• 1/2 Cup heavy cream
• 1 Cup chopped fresh cilantro
• 2 tbsp Butter
• Salt to taste
How to make Reshmi Kebab:

• Soak almonds in water for about 15 to 20 minutes, drain.
• Put the almonds, peppers, garlic, ginger, and cilantro into the bowl of a food processor and blend it till smooth.
• Add salt to it and blend in lemon juice and cream.
• Place the mixture to a big, non metallic bowl.
• Place the chicken into the bowl and turn it to coat.
• Cover and marinate into the refrigerator for about 24 hours.
• Preheat the grill for high heat and lightly oil grate.
• Remove the meat from the marinade and thread onto the skewers.
• Brush chicken with butter and arrange the skewers on hot grate and cook it till cooked through.
• Silken Kebabs are ready to serve.

• 4 Onions (paste)
• 6 Garlic Cloves (crushed)
• 1 cup Yoghurt (hung)

• 1 Pinch Saffron
• 2 tbsp Oil
How to make Chicken Chaap:

• Take a bowl and put chicken with all the ingredients except oil.
• Marinate it for half an hour.
• Heat oil in a deep bottomed pan and put chicken.
• Cook for half an hour on a low flame with one cup water.
• Garnish with shredded pista.

Serve with plain rice.

• 4 tbsp Corn Flour
• Green chilli (10 to 15 medium sizes)

• Salt to taste
• Oil for frying
• 1 Green Capsicum (chopped)
• 4 Onions
How to make Chili Paneer:

• Mix Paneer balls with corn flour fry it in a kadai till it become brown.
• In a separate kadai, fry onions till brown.
• Cut green chilli into small pieces and add it to fried onion.
• Then put small pieces of capsicum and fry it for sometime.
• Add Fried Paneer to it.
• Then drop tomato/chill/soya sauce into kadai.
• Add salt also and stir it for 3/4 mints.
• Chili Paneer is ready.

• 8 large Strawberries
• 600 ml Orange Juice
• 4 tbsp Powdered Sugar
• Ice-cubes

How to make Strawberry Beautiful:

• Keep aside quarter cup of orange juice and hull 4 strawberries and chop them.
• Out of the remaining 4 strawberries make strawberry fans and pour the remaining orange juice into a blender.
• Add strawberry crush, ginger, half a cup of water and 10-12 ice cubes and blend them well until smooth and then strain.
• Take 4 large glasses, dip their rim in the reserved orange juice and coat immediately with powdered sugar.
• Place few pieces of chopped strawberry into each glass and pour in the strained juice.

Suggestions: Serve chilled garnished with a strawberry fan placed on the rim.

Falooda Ice Cream

 Falooda Ice Cream is a very popular recipe. Learn how to prepare Maharashtrian Falooda Ice Cream by following this easy recipe.


• 250 ml Ice Cream (Vanilla)
• 1000 ml Milk
• 1/2 cup White Cream (whipped finely)
• 2 ½ tbsp Falooda Seeds
• 1 packet Rose Syrup
• 2 tsp Rose Essence
• 1/2 cup Almonds (crushed roughly)
• 1/2 cup Pistachios
• 1 cup Vermicelli
How to make Falooda Ice Cream:

• In a water content vessel soak the vermicelli seeds.
• At low heat simmer the milk in a vessel and stir it to a condensed form.
• Put the vessel aside to cool it down and later mix rose essence to it.
• Pour water into a vessel and add the vermicelli then at low temperature simmer it for 10 minutes.
• Once the vermicelli becomes tender and soft then strain it out by adding extra quantity of cold water.
• As per to the direction given in the packet prepare the rose syrup.
• Shift the rose concentrated syrup to a large bowl and add a cup of sweetened milk.
• Mix it properly before pouring it to cylindrical tall glasses.
• Decorate it with dollop of Falooda seeds and 4 strands of vermicelli.
• Top it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and sprinkle of crushed nuts.

Suggestions: Serve it with wafer or strawberry.
